But it is Humayun’s great virtue that he can portray a character with minimal of effort. It looks effortless the way he creates a character. He hardly makes his readers think hard. Rather he does all the hard work to tell a story in a simple manner. It is perhaps his simplicity that has grabbed the attention of millions of readers over such a long period of time.

Mourakshi, Ebong himu, Himu rimande- are some of the novels of himu series. very few authors do get the opportunity to create a character. He has always been criticized for his novels which are great in numbers but not that great in quality. A number of his novels fail to touch the depth of human life. What it makes his fans angry that his many books are written without any clue (well, money is a clue, for sure). They are just written to fill some pages and make publishers happy. It is really unfortunate that someone with the ability of writing Nandito Naroke or Chader Aloy Kayekjon Jubok does write without any clue.
